Lesson One
Schools and Education
Basic patterns
1.    What college should I attend in the fall?
2.    I’m majoring in history. 
3.    Can you tell me where is the dormitory?
4.    I’m taking extra classes this semester.
5.    Are you having problems with chemistry?
6.    I’m not worried about this test.
7.    The prices of textbooks have gone up.
8.    Our class has a meeting after lunch.
9.    The new professor is very strict.
10.    Do you want to study together for the exam?

The main purpose of the post is to give you an idea how I understand "imitation". In my opinion, imitation must be based on sentences, not paragraphs. If you listen to a whole paragraph and then start to imitate, I would say it's not "imitating", but "recalling".

In the first stage of improving your intonation, you must do your best to imitate the exact pitches, stresses, pauses, etc. Simply be a parrot.

This recording isn't a perfect one because I only recorded it twice. Personally I don't recommend recording more than five times for that's a waste of time. If you want others to help you improve your intonation other than just to show off, you don't have to give your perfection.

Still, Xiaoqian and other high hands please generously give me advice on my imitation. Thanks a lot.
