好像有些誤譯。retreats 這兒是名詞。動詞一般也跟 into 或 to 而不是 in 。Visit 這兒好像也没有作客或造訪的意思，衹是指到某个地方。不過我不是很確定。
我覺得翻译應按譯本語言的習慣來傳達原文的口吻。字句太緊跟原文反而不自然。我大概會譯成這樣:

傍晚此時正貼着天空散開 ("傍晚"而非''黄昏''，以及"散開"而不用"鋪開''，來自立，很好，借用)
