Hate or like it, Chinese will always face such a disadvantage in almost every field, not just the accounting.

When a company, especially decent ones like Big 4, recruits for new-graduates, they wouldn't care that much whether you are a Chinese or American. The biggest issue for most Chinese to fail to advance in rounds of interviews is their communication skills, including professional English.

Such a problem is everywhere. I would think accounting is one of the easiest fields in financial services that Chinese can get in with limited financial trainings and English skills.

To put it in a simple way, accounting is the career in financial services where I see the most "F2" Chinese.
