小说嘛,如果典型了就趋于平庸了,没人看了。 Nan Wu的经历不具有典型性,小说里也提到很多人转学计算机,MBA什么的。象学文的,我的同学里转行的居多,没有谁是quit graduate school,在中餐馆打工,当了一阵儿一个中文报纸的editor,后来买了个餐馆开餐馆。后来因为他老婆身体状况不好,需要有health insurance,然后他就去一个motel当front desk clerk,motel的owner想promote他当manager他都不当,因为他想有时间陪家人+写诗。
