Regarding [1], I agree that "to meet your need" is a safer choice. However, it is not as interesting or fresh to me - you see, I wanted to "make new sentences", which includes using unfamiliar words and phrases. That's why I tried to use "to suit your needs".
After reading your reply, I looked up the Oxford Advanced Learner's English-Chinese Dictionary (6th Ed.) and found the following example in the entry "suit":
Choose a computer to suit your particular needs.
This seems to validate my usage in the article. What do you think?

In the end, I had some doubts in my own reasoning and logic and did not try to convince her. I thought this could be conveyed by writing "In the end, I did not convince her." Is this too vague or unclear?
