Just came back from a meeting. Can’t help saying more.

When I see this“How can I trust a sitcoms if its plots drift apart so far from reality?”, can’t help saying more.

It is not a cult show or a small crowd pleaser. It is bona fide hit. It has so many viewers and followers, which has pushed it from a couple of test-water pilot episodes to a full-blown six season long TV series then eventually to the big silver screen. People just can’t get enough of it.

Yes, it has lots of sex that you find appalling and revolting. But if it is for nudity and sex, viewers can go directly to rent porn movies to get an eyeful. If it is for fashions, viewers can go for fashion shows to enjoy to their heart contents. Why bother to get a bit here, a bit there from a TV series.

It must have done something right. It touches the hearts. It touches souls. As a drama, yes, it is dramatic, eye-popping and jaw dropping. But it must have a grip of reality to connect to viewers to be popular. And maybe more than that.

Still, it is just discussing. Don’t want to force opinions on each other. I’m just stating my opinions here. You are always adorable and loveable no matter we see eye to eye on this issue or not. ;)
