I am a leaf

I am a leaf,
Flowing in the wind;
I am a leaf,
Drifting on the waves;
Until one day,
I said goodbye to my family and peer friends;
Arriving at the other side of the earth.


I am a seed,
Aparting from the motherland,
To seek for a fertile soil;
Until one day,
I settled down at an exotic place.
I am nourishing from that earth;
I am growing and immersing to that land.

From time to time,
The leaf looks back, tracing the coming journey;
Hoping, one day, she is with her family and friends again.

Is the mother tree still there?
Are the peers still that young?


I am the leaf,
I am going to stop drifting;
I am the seed,
I am going to start sprouting.
