1. You can also get lawyers who made contributions to
judges.
2. You can require a jury trial as defendent. Your lawyer has as much right to pick the jury as the other
side.
3. You can have your own lobbists as much as the other
side.
Of course, if your view of justice is way outside of
the main stream (i.e. can't find one out of 12 juries
to support it), you have no resource, or you are
the aggressive party, the other side would have
advantage.
