OJ could get away was because he had tons of money. If he was just an ordinary black guy he could not hire such a good lawyer and his team to defend him. Rich poeple sometimes can get away with crime, while guys like us living on ordinary salary might be wrongly accused of crime if the lawyer we hired was incompetent.
