Sometimes it may be better to just take it at night and then sleep. You will feel a lot of urination with HCTZ in the first 2 weeks but it will slow down. You may take HCTZ in the morning and lisinopril at night.
Did your doctor rule out any secondary cause, such as hyperthyroidism, renal artery stenosis, hyperaldosteronism, high cortisol level, metanephrine and etc?
