我的三次颈动脉内膜中层厚度检查结果总结

我再来更新一下我的血管健康／老化情况，具体说，是品牌叫做Cardiorisk 的颈动脉内膜中层厚度（ Carotid Intima‐Media Thickness, or CIMT, IMT）的检查情况。这是超声波检查，是早期的 non-invasive的检查。

 

2年前我写了这个：

到现在为止，我检查了3次。第4次是下个月。

 

Date of exam: 8/15/17; 8/17/16; 7/9/15

Patient age: 47; 46; 45

Arterial age: 54; 52; 54

Patient IMT: 0.63mm; 0.62mm; 0.63mm

 

Good news 有两个：

1. 血管老化年龄（与实际年龄相比），由10岁缩小到8岁再到7岁。

 2. 颈动脉内膜中层厚度，或简称血管硬化厚度，控制在0.63mm之内，no progression. 我的医生和专家建议我把IMT(Intima‐Media Thickness)控制在0.7mm以下。如果超过1mm, 就要考虑采取干预方式，比如use a stress test and more. 这就给我动力注意保持日常良好的饮食和锻炼生活方式。
