I think she has irrational fear. As a Hollywood star, she probably should be more focused on her life style and mental health to reduce the risk of breast cancer and boosting immune system to reduce the risk of other diseases. If she ignores these factors, only cutting off boobs would not help much. Cancer can happen to other organs. And people can die from other diseases.

The bottom line is: everybody dies eventually. Why fear?
