I personally prefer Miralax, it's over the counter. In general, 17gm of powder mixed with 8oz of fluid once a day, may adjust dosage according to people's response to it (.i.e., if diarreha, cut down the dosage, still constipation, may increase the dosage, I would not go more than double dosage a day in general). But, it may take people 2-3 days to see the response, don't give it up on the first or second day of try.
