跟一公司的HR recruiter conversation. He asked me how
many lines of C++ code one of my projects had. I said
fifteen thousand. He stopped the conversation right
there. He then went on to say that their project had
close to a million lines! I asked how many people
are on the project, the answer was 'a couple'. I
was skeptical about the size, but I said that if
managed properly by some tool, the project can be
broken down and managed. His reply was that they
didn't use any tool for the management. He went on
to say something like 'you don't have that kind of experience, don't you agree?'. I cannot believe
their project is that big but how should I have
answered his (rhetorical) question?
