从2007年开始上点规模的种花，与其说上规模，还不如说歪打歪撞得种了一个漂亮的cosmos border。当初种的时候属于brand new beginner,还不知道原来cosmos开花这么多，border可以整个夏天鲜花灿烂一直到11月份。。这一切都是种花的开始。。
到现在为止寻寻觅觅的learning by doing种了100多种花，也终于找到了自己最喜欢的，那就是玫瑰。。初夏到夏天的灿烂，即便是在落叶的深秋，仍然在一轮一轮的绽放，直到冬季的第一场雪。。漫步在花园，玫瑰特有的那种芬芳每每让我感到难以抗拒。。每天下班打开车门，每次在后花园漫步，阵阵玫瑰花的香味扑鼻而来。。那一刻：home, sweet home~~~~~~~~~
回顾种玫瑰花的历程，有一个名字是不能忘记的，那就是heka，让我至今仍然感激不已。当初刚种花的时候懵懵懂懂，对玫瑰的种植品种等等一无所知。在家坦看第一次看到heka的玫瑰花贴，当时瞪大了眼睛倒吸一口凉气：哇，玫瑰可以种得如此的惊艳典雅。。。。同样是heka，在我刚开始种玫瑰花的时候告诉了我david austin rose。。之前，我对david austin rose一无所知。。作为一个brand new beginner，long learning curve是避免不了的。。正是heka的建议，让我受益匪浅，让我从一开始就避免了走弯路，直奔david austin rose。。
在我印象里，david austin rose的同义词就是：浓郁的玫瑰花香，繁多的花瓣，典雅的花型，repeat flowering，大花头密集的开花，长花期, long term sustainable grow。。这都是我最喜欢的。。
