那是在那年的暑假，事情发生得比预料中的要快，结婚的事被提到日程上来了。我去看望了一个在当地结婚的大学同学，顺便打听了如何办理结婚手续。
之后就开始实施计划了。因为是夏天，西服上装留在了学校宿舍没带来，我想就穿长袖衬衫打领带加正式西装裤去市政厅登记了。她嫂子说这样显得太随便，怎么也得穿件西装吧（为这事我很感激她，关键时刻点拨了我一下，当时也只有她在支持我们）。我们赶紧去茂里买了一套深藏青色的西服。
去市政厅办完结婚仪式后，就去超市购物，准备在后院BBQ。邀了几个好朋友来聚一聚，怕大家破费，事先都没有跟他们提结婚的事。我那大学同学夫妇也来了，还带了瓶香槟。他的先知先觉让我很有些惊讶，他说他大约猜出是怎么回事了。。。老同学让我好感动。
没有婚纱礼服，也没有婚宴，终身大事就这么简单办了。我家人觉得太委屈我们了，心里一直过意不去，希望我们在国内补办一次。可是她不喜欢在陌生人堆里应酬，最后也就不了了之了。
哎，一晃好多年过去了。还记得那条街名叫 Inniswood，还有那年夏天那瓦蓝瓦蓝的天空。。。
