空巢了，该为退休做准备了

上周五和太太一起把儿子dump给了大学，算正式空巢了。回家两老面对空荡荡的房子，就开始计划退休了。还有很多情况不是我们能完全掌控的。先制定计划，做两手准备，一步一步走向退休。我和太太对金钱的追求动力不大，更向往心灵的自由。

我们退休面临的第一个问题是“哪里退休”。来美20多年了，两边父母健在的时候，总是担心着老人随时需要我们在身边的时刻，所以拿到绿卡这么多年，也没有申请公民。我父母走了，中美之间十年多次往返的签证也提供了两国间来回的便利，“哪里退休”的答案将由公民申请的结果来决定。所以，议事日程上的第一件事情就是办理这个申请。

经济上也开始具体化。美国退休的话，理论上我现在就符合雇主的规定，可以退休了。网站上算了一下，pension一个月大约有2500左右（with 100％的survivorship), 医疗保险和工作时相当，两老花费是每月200-500，看选择的健康保险计划的好坏。如果现在不退，pension的数量将按每推迟退休一年长6％。考虑儿子的学费还没有准备好，和太太商量计划四年后退休，到时候大约每月3000。按目前生活标准，差不多够了。太太的社安62开始领取的话，估计每月大约800，可以用来应对通货膨胀。自存的退休金做旅游，应急和养老院得准备。如果回国养老， pension和自存的退休金可以拿出来，交完罚款（59.5会是一个坎)／税收后，回中国可以勉强糊口。所以，在中美之间的选择还是美国好一些。

身体状况目前还不错。两个孩子，一个大学毕业自立了，一个刚进大学。空巢后每天早晨一个小时（上班前）晚上一个小时（晚饭后）锻炼。天气好走路为主，冬天室内自行车。体重控制在BMI 22-23之间; 血压血糖正常范围，血脂有一点偏高。其它都和同龄人差不多。希望能在退休20年之内能生活自理。

父母辈经济上负担不大， 每年礼节性意思意思就可以了。他们养老的具体任务也基本交给国内的兄弟姐妹打点。当然，代价就是我们放弃遗产继承。

目前和太太工作都还算比较轻松。每天八小时，压力不大。工作稳定性一般，但怕丢工作的压力已经基本消除。对工作的态度是保住饭碗为儿子挣学费最好，多挣意义不大。多挣都交税和交给孩子学校，自己基本没有剩余。所以，加班多挣钱的动力也没有了。能维持现状是最好的。


人算不如天算，算了10多年，给太太承诺的她走出家门帮我一把，争取60岁之前退休，看样子是曙光在前了。
