回国跟银行打交道遇到的问题，请教万能的家坛

我十几年前在北京中国银行存了些外汇，存定期的。当时是用中国护照开的户头。上个月回国想去取出来，银行说你的中国护照已经过期了，不是有效证件。你的美国护照我们又无法知道跟你的中国护照是不是同一个人，因为美国护照上名字也只是拼音，不是中国字。银行要我去开个证明能证明我的美国护照和中国护照是同一个人才能让取。我回美国后询问中国大使馆，问他们能不能给开个证明。他们说没有此项服务。

我有银行存折本，密码，旧的中国护照，一代身份证，现有的美国护照。但是我没有二代身份证。我上哪里去证明我的两本护照是同一个人呢？
