公公有个行为一直令我费解。

每次他要搬来我们附近两个月前，他都会让儿子把一个吸尘器先运过来，放在我们的车库里，然后等他搬来我们这里几个月后，才让儿子把这个吸尘器拿去他家，可见他不是打算用它来吸尘后再入住。
他跟着我们搬了好几次，这个行为也已经重复了好几次了。这又不是价值连城，易碎的东西，也不是个什么特别的吸尘器，他家还有易碎的大花瓶什么的，都没有让儿子先运过来。
他这个行为的背后有什么特殊的意义吗？我问老公为什么，他也不能回答我，每次他就是照着做。
我们都没打开过这吸尘器的盒子，难道里面装着什么阴谋？一打开就会露馅让他看出来？
