惟有兰花异众芳

    兰花是植物界中的一个庞大家族，大约有两万多原生种，还有难以胜数的杂交品种。兰花是它的统称，这些原种和杂交种组成了形态万千，奇异缤纷的兰花世界。在自然生境中，兰花的花期迴异，一年四季都会有兰花开放。通过人工控制温度和光照还可以提前或延后兰花开放，在特定的时间内让人们欣赏。

    笔者近些年收集了许多品种的兰花，有幸从年头到年尾都能看到美丽的兰花。我把近期开放的兰花贴出来，请大家欣赏。

荷兰木鞋Bulbophyllum frostii ‘Doug’ x ‘Cascade’，开放前和开放 

Maxillaria tenuifolia，有椰子香味

有些蝴蝶兰放在一个出租房餐厅的阳面窗户旁，冬天学生把室温调得很低。 所以这些蝴蝶兰到今年4－5月份才开放。 蝴蝶兰的花期一般都有3个月， 有的会开5个月之久。
