说个我女儿的笑话吧， 今天刚发生的

中午她电话我， 大声痛哭： mom, got rate of 2 about my perfomance.

me: 多少等级呀

her: 5

me: that is very good.. haha why you cry?

her: I should get 1  as I did outstanding job and I got $1,000 reward in almost every of my project.s   and the leaders of my company  directly emailed me about the rewards...........

me: girl, you do not undertand business... if the company gives you 1 that means they need to promote you this  year... they cannot do that... every company has budget..generally the company increases the rate of employee gradually no matter what. this is not like when you are in school., you will automatically be Number 1 as long as you have good grades.....

......................

然后她平静了一点

。。。。。。

her:  I got 20% of salary increase...

me: oh my god.！！！！

刚才跟老伴提起， 他也惊奇她的salary increase....

哈哈， 刚参加工作才快一年（到8月一年）。。。
