I have returned package food at Sam's once. It was too salty.

What else am I supposed to do with it? Throw it away or eat it even though it was harmful to my health?

I have also returned fresh fruit at a local grocery store once too. The store advertise 200% guarantee on freshness and the fruit became rotten the next day. Again, what else am I supposed to do but to return it? Of course it wasn't far for me to go the store otherwise it wouldn't be worth it.
