1. Why was there no communication between your parents and your husband? It sounds like to be your fault. They need a bridge to smooth that out unless you have something to hide from both sides.

2. This is not an issue at all even if you never want them to talk. You can rent or buy a townhouse or apartment nearby for your parents.
