Maybe she is just mimicking her parent.

Instead of offering a target for her to go against, ask what she wants.  Unless she is about to do something dangerous, what is the reason it has to be your way but not her way?

Would you prefer your daughter growing up knowing what she wants, or waiting for others to tell her?  Trying to see things through her eyes will make life easier.  You will set a good example for her to be able to see what others see.

Many Chinese kids' spirits are crushed by their parents.  You should be glad that yours is still fighting :)
