这事咋办呢？

前不久回国，抽空回老家一趟，其间有高中同学来访并吃了一顿饭。昨晚收到其中一个高中同学电话（自己开厂的），说我离开老家不久，他接到我从海南打给他的电话，我妹妹在北京住院，急需3万人民币，希望尽快打入某账号，而我身上只有美金，于是他将钱如数打出去了。估计没听到我要还他这钱，他将此事告诉另一高中同学，另一同学告诉他我根本就没有妹妹。显然是被骗了。再说了，我离开老家就直接回美国了，也没去海南呀。这种事我该怎么办？我要补偿这同学的loss吗？
