我家的Holiday Tradition

 

Holiday Tradition 每个家庭都会多多少少有自己的tradition，尤其是年底各种大大小小的节日纷至沓来的时候，听着熟悉的歌曲，做着熟悉的事情，和身边一如既往至爱的人在一起，心里盛满的是暖暖的幸福。 我们家的Holiday Season一般从Thanksgiving之前一周就算正式开始了, Deck the Hall, Trim the Tree





感恩节的晚餐是一年最重要的了，亲朋好友欢聚一堂，当然也少不了的是美酒佳肴和一颗感恩的心


Thanksgiving 就算是 Christmas的热身吧，这之后就是正式开始过Christmas Season了 每年不隆重的dress up去看The Nutcracker，就不算过节

还有一部我每年这时一定要拿出来复习一遍的feel good and get-ya-in-the-spirit movie - Love Actually

享受了这半天，该活动活动了 - 节日重头戏 Shopping!Shopping!More Shopping！

买回家也不过是half of the job, 还有wrapping!wrapping! and more wrapping!

嗯，这还差不多哦

给身边的邻居，远方的朋友亲人带去节日祝福的卡片，一般Christmas 10天前会寄出，可能有人会说，为什么不用ecard? call me old fashioned, 但是，对我来说没有什么比在节日前打开邮箱拿到卡片更幸福的了

还有节日重头戏，Party！ Party! more Party！公司的，朋友的，邻居的，家人的 Let's Eat, Drink and be Merry
!
每年的Christmas Eve，我们的church都会有Candle Light Service, 烛光，歌声给人带来的不仅仅是那份宁静与平和，更是对未来的希望。

请大家在庆祝节日的时候也不要忘记那些under previledged 的人们，给他们一些力所能及的帮助吧,会给自己带来更大的快乐
 
过完节我们一般都去度个大假，Don't we all need a vacay after the holidays? 难题来了，是上山滑雪呢？还是去海边晒太阳呢？How about both?
