当时选中这个房子除了房子内部的格局、开放式结构完全符合我们要求，后院也是我们喜欢这个房子的主要原因之一：
1. 后院有个built-in BBQ 烧烤台：我家喜欢爬梯，每年总要几次邀请朋友来家里聚会，几家朋友聚在一起泡茶、烧烤、啤酒、聊天、唱歌，其乐融融。
2. 侧院有个篮球场，儿子有足够的活动空间，可以打球、骑scooter和自行车等，如果小朋友多了，还可以把侧门打开，我家前面是cul de sac，路很宽而且没有什么车（我们这条路总共才5户住家）
3. 侧院有个凉亭, 是泡茶、喝酒、聊天的好地方，我们有时也在凉亭里烤肉吃（桌面电烤炉 )
4. 后院围墙外面就是小马路，比较有隐私，平时也没有什么车，所以不吵。马路对面就是公园，所以从2楼主卧露台看出去就是公园了，也算是有view 了。。。
5. 前任屋主该种的都种了，否则重新种plam tree 和果树还得等10年以上才能成材。院子里现有包括26棵大小palm tree，2棵苹果树（青苹果、Anna ），芭乐、金桔、芒果、橙子，新买的枣子，老家移来的枇杷等。
6. 后院中间有个室外的壁炉，这样加起来我家共有5个壁炉（家庭间、客厅、bonus room、主卧都有壁炉）。虽然基本不用，但是看起来也比较值钱吧。。
