如影随形

我要开个袋子，打开抽屉，看见一把橘黄色的小剪刀，那是我从父亲那里顺来的。
剪指甲，拉开柜子，里面有一把竹子形状的指甲剪，那是我从父亲那里顺来的。
用牙签，柜子里有两大包，那是我从父亲那里顺来的。

……
父亲一逛地摊、一逛超市，就买回很多价廉物不美的小东西。全是一块钱两块钱的小杂货，用之不竭，弃之可惜。由于数量太多，我母亲一气之下统统称之为废物，隔段时间就扔掉一批。我回国时如果碰上，就把能用的顺手捡两样回来。

我说：爸爸，这么多指甲剪，不要再买了。你看，为了不浪费，我都不得不带到国外去。

父亲振振有词地说：我如果不买，你现在不就没有能带到国外去的了吗？

我竟语塞。感觉这逻辑有点别扭，但一时又无言以对。

在这么多从父亲那里顺来的小废物里，有一本《牛津英汉双解字典》，还算是高大上。我去年陷在扶手椅里、肚皮上放着它，读完了The Lord of the Rings。

那字典对父亲没有用。他读武侠，读过即忘，常读常新。我问：爸爸，杨过的师父是谁？

白龙女嘛。我父亲说。

难道杨过的师父是唐僧的坐骑所幻化的妖精？但我父亲的记忆就是这么任性。

我的记忆却非常清晰。我一用剪刀，父亲就出现；我一剪指甲，父亲就出现；我一剔牙，父亲就出现；我一读英文书，父亲就出现……我一读到《乾红猫》的故事，我那受骗上当买了彩色小鸡的父亲就出现。

我坐在父亲自行车后座上昏昏欲睡……对面来的人大叫：你后座上那个小孩快掉下去了！

幸好父亲没有弄丢我。

可是我弄丢了父亲。

昨天是西方的父亲节。就像圣诞节一样，属于新派的洋节，我与父母之间是不庆祝的。

今天是20日，其实也是洋历，但这是我与父母共同使用的历。

6月20日，我失去父亲，整整两个月了。

平生每添伤心事，天涯空余断肠人。
