铺硬木地板

我们这次一楼全部铺的硬木地板，这种木料叫 Teak，中文叫柚木。英文的解释是这样的：Teak is synonymous with luxury and timeless beauty, and it holds a well-earned place as the gold standard of wood furniture and flooring. Its rich coloring and lasting shine lend an air of refinement to any room. 我们买的很便宜 ($4.17/sq ft)。

柚木还有些防水，可以用来做室外的家具，唯一没有想到的是这木头太硬了！我们做地板的朋友用的简单的钉枪（finishing nailer）打不进去，后来又在网上买了钉枪（framing nailer），因为不太会用也很难打进去，或者木板会打裂。最后请了专业的老墨来装的，除了边条外都装好了，多了三盒没用上：
