昨天，俺家妮的home work， 俺喜欢

I am from Canada
With its tall, proud, maple trees that seemed like they guarded the country
I am from pastries and candies
And the sweet, flaky, crunchy, pretzel shaped pastries that would get crumbs everywhere
I am from Yop
From milk that came in plastic bags
I am from the playground at the top of the hill
Where I rode my small pink bicycle, pretending that I was in space, flying
I am from my pencil flying across the paper
And my wishes that my drawings came to life
I am from the grand lobby of my apartment building (The lighting was bad)
And the huge looming stairs that seemed to go on forever
I am from stacks of books
Like a skyscraper that went past the sky
I am from fidget spinners that spin like the earth,
And uno games where laughing and yelling where allowed
I am from my fear of heights
And my used-to-be fear of skeletons
I am from my violin
The melodies that danced, sang, and cried
I am from my goldfish, Annie
( she lived until 9 )
I am from the language of love,
That i oh-so-ironically forgot
I am from being tall all my life,
Almost as if I could touch the sky
I am from sketches of anime
That I would labor over with my stylus, to make it complete.
