for sure it is overweight, if just 50 lbs, you might get away depending on the person when weighting. If you have 2 50 lbs, then prepare to pay. There is a special counter to pay overweight fine in Beijing T3.
show you international ticket works before, but now follow domestic rules no matter where you fly from. 20 kg, period.
only one condition you can waive it if you take china international airline flight or hainan airline, and you transfer within 24hours, 50lbs ok.
if you over weight a lot, better to find a logistic company at airport, send to your home directly, cheaper and you do not have to carry it all the way.
understanding airline company cost increase, but doing this really trouble a lot on passages, internationalizing!?
