买房子有用 dual 中介的吧？好处，坏处是什么？

I'm selling my house and am talking to a Chinese agent, he said he can give me 1% discount for house-buying if I use him as my seller's agent also.

I'm buying a house in another area and talked to agent during open-house session; the agent is Latino/Mexican. She said she can act as 'intermediary'/dual agent, and she is familiar with the seller.  So  买房子有用 dual 中介的吧？好处，坏处是什么？
