New House Title, LLC, an affiliate of the FLorida Default Lau Group, PL is handling the settlement and title insurance for the referenced transaction for which Fannie Mae is the seller.
Fannie Mae has become aware of potential defects with affidavits submitted by their servicer, Bank of America and its affiliated entities, in foreclosure actions, which raise concerns about the insurability of the title of the subjiect property. Until these defects have been remedied, we are unable to proceed with the sale or closing of foreclosed properties.
Pursuant to Section 18(j) of the Real Estate Purchase Agreement, Fannie Mae is exercising its sole discretion to extend the Expiration Date of the Agreement by 15 days at this time. If you wish to receive a return of the earnest money and not wait for the issue to be resoled, Fannie Mae will terminate the Agreement and return the earnest money deposit.
Please notify your real estate agent or auction representative if you don't wish to proceed with the transaction.
