真心请教：到底要不要给孩子买５２９教育基金？

俩孩，一个５岁，一个３岁。我俩都工作，年约１１万多。各自存满４０１和每人$４，０００ 的那个（？？）。有房款和孩子教育花费等。 该花就花，能省则省，每月所剩无几，但每月给孩子每人存$１００－２００ 也行。只是不知道有没有必要存。

查了一下，好多中国人都不建议存，说中国孩子多数可拿奖学金。老美都建议存。请指教。
