2. Boston is a high cost area, so it may be $5k for the new one, plus whatever it cost to dispose the old one (something about 2mx2mx2m), and some more for the aftermath landscaping. Even in December the frozen earth is only a few inches deep, so excavation should not be a problem. Depends on whether you can find someone willing to do it this time of the year.
