buying a flat in Shanghai

My Dad wants to buy a flat in shanghai. The deeds will be my name. However I am not sure if it's worth.

This newbuild flat costs about 800KRMB. the leasehold period is only 70years. I was very shocked becasue I watched some TV program before. Any leasehold period shorter than 70 years is not recommended to buy.

Anybody knows shanghai property market situation. I haven't been home for 3 years. Is this 70 year good or just a con?
