Those who came USA earlier used to 'show-off' their 'superiority' to those who came USA later.... Don't take it personal, it is just the feeling I experienced...

By the way, you may be one of those 'lucky' one: got a job at USA before 99/2000 (the Golend years), have stock option before the bull-market time (97 - 02), sale stock at peak time --- made all the switches at the right time.

Also, who knows when the good-years of USA economy will come back ---- look out how slow GreenCard application now after year 2003 (9/11 change everything after)....
