真实情况（工资）

我在亚特兰大，老公在IT公司当Director,他手下有几个Chinese.他本人工资115000+30%bonus,手下有毕业4，5years PH.D 75000+20%bonus,10years Master'degress 92000+12% bonus, ages between 32-42.全属真实情况.

大家不要吵，在美情况都差不多。只要心态好，开开心心。
不相信我讲工资的人，请与我商谈。
我，11 years experience, IT (top performer, not manager), 工资加奖金也就 $95000.00 - $120000.00/year (range depends on the company performance for annual bonus).

I am in TX. I am in "loser" category based on the previous posting comparing to other sucessful fellow chinese. But my situation is 100% true.

when I left school in 1996, the offers I got 2 TX companies were:
TI (Dallas): $61,000, sign-up bonus: 5,000. Moving package: $5,000.
MOT (Austin): $65,000. Sign-up + moving: $10,500.

My area was chip design at that time. I have two master degrees in EE: one from China.

I have a PhD friend joined TI at about the same time. his salary just $58,000.
his research area was telecommunication.

和我以前在的公司 (in San Jose) 差不多

R&D director/Architect: $120K to $150K.

about 20-25% Chinese Engineers reach Architect level after 5 yrs (PhD) and
10 yrs (Master).

There are > 100 Chinese engineers in the company.
Most Chinese engineers' salary are between $110K to $130K.
about 15% of Chinese engineers are under $100K, including new graduates.
