Gutter cover not good solution

You probably have leaves piled on the gutter cover that sealed off the holes. In my opinion gutter covers mean more problem. You still have to clean the material accumulated on top of the cover as well as in the gutters, otherwise you will have a little forest growing on the roof soon.
