I have doubt abt it. You even don't

have PR in US. Evrything is uncertain, you need to keep your money available whenever you need it.Only when you are sure you will be able to stay in this country, then you can make long term inverstement. I even doubt if you are eligble for IRA since you are a non-resident foreigner. A simple CD can earn you 5%+ interet now and you can take the money out whenever you want.
