Currently I live in central NJ, but I am sick of paying high property tax here, beginning of this year, I spent a lot a time to thinking and searching where should I live. I do have a young child will go to school soon, so good public school system is a big consideration for me. After all my searching, I choose NC and went to there bought a piece of lake view lot to build my own dream house later on, it is really a beautiful place, it has lake in the front and golf course in the community The property tax is extremely cheap, the tax rate is only 8% of my current living town's rate. The summer may be hot there, but the winter is much nicer than here. When I waa looking properties with realtor in NC, the realtors was getting so many phone calls inquiring properties from MA, CA, FL, NY and NJ.I am still looking for good investment opportunities in NC.You really need to go there to see the area on your own then appreciate what will you get for your money.
