I guess you can do it yourself

if you are a very handy person, especially if you are very handy with flooring or you have flooring experience. I hired floor comapny to do it. It seems pretty easy. Subfloor systems does not cost much, about $2,000 for 1,500 sqft, which I don't remember for sure. anyway, it is worthy to try. We love it and it works very well in our basement.
