kids should walk and play on the newly stalled hardwood as much as possible. You may need replace these hardwood if the noise is not gone after one or two months of walking and playing on it. It might be very possible that the hardwood is not installed properly. We have hardwood on each of three floors and had same kind of noise as you do. But not any more. Nothing is wrong.
