You can have one or two pieces of whole wheat breads, or one cup cooked brown rice, or small portion of whole wheat pasta.
I will suggest to try to stick with orginal plan -- only veggi and meat. But if you must have some carbonhydrate, go with whole wheat.
You can have one or two coffee per day, but no sugar, no cream.
I personally don't like coffee that much, coffee without sugar and cream? I can not tolerate.
Somehow, maybe just me, drinking black coffee makes my dizzy, and more easily get hungry.
