他们搬出去１2天后，给我寄来这么一封EMAIL

This is the final attempt to inform you to issue the security deposit. I have tried to contact you about this several times but you always ignored me. I had filed police report to San Mateo County police, and if I do not receive the refunds by January 5 2014, San Mateo police will come to contact you. I also talked to my lawyer, and he will send you letter about the court date for this matter.

I expect to hear back from you about the refund check delivery date no later than December 25, 2013.

这算恐吓或诋毁吗？

In CA, we have 21 days to issue the refund. I am really happy to see this pathetic family tenant go; sometimes I feel this letter is a joke and funny, but I also feel I am insulted by such a threat.

Have you guys ever had similar experience before?
