1990-1998/2000: we happened to have a major innovation in US starting from 2000.

Can we have another major innovation in next few years? I hope so. what would it be though? The google, rimm, apple stuff are really not innovation at all. They just integrate different stuff in one platform and make it easier and more powerful to use.
