租约已签，SECURITY DEPOSIT也已到账。如果提前几天给房客钥匙，要注意什么事项？

租约上的开始日期是10月1日。但房客想9月26日拿KEY。我是否让他在拿KEY之前再签个补充协议指定租约开始日是9月26日，否则在9月26日到10月1日这几天其实是没有租约的。发生什么事情不好办。
