请教： 我于元月得了亚急性甲状腺（甲状腺部位剧痛），吃了强的松2个半月，到4月初基本好了。在4月中旬甲状腺部位又摸着痛吞咽痛，现在差不多又好了。我的血检指标现在正常。10天前做了超声波（那时左边甲状腺部位摸着微痛）。测量结果如下：
The right lobe of the thyroid measures 1.7 x 1.4 x 1.5 cm and the left 2.2 x 1.5 x 3.5cm. The gland overall is heterogeneous in apprearance. There is a 3.4 x 1.2 x 1.5 cm somewhat inhomegenous focus seen posteriorly in which is found a 0.3 cm more focal hypoechoic focus. The left contains a 2.5 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm ill-defined slightly hypoechoic focus. The isthmus is minimally thickened at 0.4 cm.
No abnormal cervical lymph nodes.
我的专科医生是ENDO，她对这个超声波结果没有任何评论，只是说 it is useless.需要在我们当地医院（仪器可能精确性）重做。可是预约是在8月31号。如果我的专科医生说是Urgent，医院会提前预约。但是我的专科医生说，not neccessary to move up，所以我的预约不能提前 （注：我是在加拿大）。
我现在很困惑：
1） 不知道3.4 x 1.2 x 1.5 cm 是不是结节？
2） 如果是结节的话，需要做活检吗？可是我的专科医生什么都没有说。
3） 这个超声波结果是不是不清楚？是否需要再做一个B超来double check?
