technique: Real-time images were obtained through the thyroid gland

Comparison: none

Findings

Right lobe measures 4.4cm x 1.5cm x1.5cm. Echogenicity is homogeneous. no nodule, mass, or cryt is seen.

Left lobe of the thyroid gland measures 4.6cm x2.1 cm x 1.5cm
there is a complex nodule in the upper pole of the left lobe of the thyroid
gland. It measures 2.5 cm x 2 cm x 1.3 cm. It has solid and cystic component.Remainder of left lobe of the thyroid gland is homogeneous in echogenicity. Isthmus is normal.

Impression

1; Slight thyromegaly

2: Complex nodule in the superior pole of the left lobe of the thyroid gland.
