地产经纪买自住房时，可以把佣金用作downpayment吗？

夫妻俩一起买自住房，老婆是买房的经纪人，老公做贷款，老婆的佣金除了用作closing cost and prepaid items 以外仍有余额，余额可以contribute 到downpayment里吗？谢谢！
